	You will need: Duck® brand duct tape Scissors or utility knife Ruler or measuring tape Pen Cutting board or protective surface
	Step 1: Choose your favorite color of duct tape for your rose. Cut a 12-inch strip of your chosen color.
	Step 2: Cut the strip of tape in half lengthwise to make two separate thin 12-inch strips. Assemble your rose. (See the duct tape rose instructions to create your rose. Be aware that the petals will be smaller in size.)
	Step 3: Wrap the rest of the pen in the green duct tape, creating a stem for your rose.
	Step 4: Cut a half inch piece of green duct tape to attach the rose to the top of the pen.
	Step 5: Decorate additionally as you see fit.
